I got started in woodworking in 2005 when I wanted to build my own poker table. Poker was super hot back then but you couldn’t buy tables anywhere so I decided to make my own. I found some plans online (this was pre-YouTube) and borrowed my uncle’s tools/garage. I’ve been hooked ever since. Most of my projects have been for me, family or friends.
Most of my woodworking now involves a scroll saw and I run a part-time business making 3D wood art, Bourbon barrel heads, signs and more. You can learn more at MadeByJayLane.com.
